Crane Fluid Systems have been quick off the mark in obtaining the Quality Management Standard ISO 9001:2000.
Despite having until the end of 2003 to revise their previous ISO 9001 standard, Crane are among the first companies in the UK to do so more than 12 months in advance.
This revised quality management standard covers the entire activities of an organisation and provides assurance to customers that the quality processes are being addressed.
Crane Quality Assurance Manager Brian Baldry commented, "We have been very proactive in obtaining the updated quality standard early, as this will provide us with an edge over competitors in the market and enable us to respond with maximum efficiency to customers' requirements".
